| Volunteering & Fundraising Opportunities |
VolunteeringVolunteering is the backbone of Loyola Village PTA and Booster Club. With the state budget cuts this year, we need your help more than ever. We have small time commitments of as little as 30 minute volunteer shifts at school events like Book Fair, Silent Auction and Open House, as well as coordinating programs/events like Gift Wrap or Cookie Dough. If you are creative or have any kind of design/layout skills, you could volunteer to design our brochures, help with yearbook or help choreograph an act for our annual Talent Show. In addition, if you know of or work for a printer, you could volunteer to run our school brochures or graduation programs. These are just a few of the items we need assistance with – the opportunities are endless and we welcome your time, suggestions and support. We look forward to your participation and getting to know you. FundraisingThis year, Booster Club’s goal is to raise over $97,500 to help pay for our Magnet Coordinator, copier, guitar instruction, librarian, as well as providing a new iMAC laptop and LCD projector for ten more classrooms to supplement the new enVision math program. There are many more items that need our dollars. EventsTo raise money for our annual budget, Booster Club and PTA will sponsor the following fundraising events throughout the year:
